The fundamental and application oriented laboratory experiments in Physics are a major breakthrough for the Engineering students. Our Physics lab was established in the year 2001. The laboratory is well equipped with adequate major and minor equipments as per the AICTE norms and Anna University regulations.

A batch of 60 students can individually perform their experiments at a time. Lab is equipped with sufficient number of instruments and glasswares as per the curriculum requirement of Anna University, Chennai. In addition to this, sophisticated instruments that can be utilized for various project and research works related to ground water and effluent water characterization, polymer synthesis and characterization etc.Total Cost of the equipments available presently in the laboratory is Rs.4.5 lakhs. A rain water harvesting plant has been setup near Chemistry laboratory with a capacity of 12,000 litres. The water collected is utilized for doing Volumetric analysis experiments.

A systems support engineer is always available, and a battery of UPS units give a pleasant and uninterrupted learning atmosphere where the students as well their guiding faculty can have numerous avenues to develop listening and speaking skills and take on-line tests.
