The college has a dynamic and well-established "Career Development Cell," headed by Senior Placement officer and assisted by three Placement Officers, along with one faculty coordinator from each department, as well as student coordinators from each department.

Placement is the main institutional activity to extend job opportunities to students under proper guidance. The placement cell interacts with many organizations across the country to arrange campus interviews for the placement of final-year students.

The Career Development Cell arranges career guidance programs (CGP), soft skills programs, and personality development programs through external experts. Such programs are arranged for the students to develop their communication skills and build their self-confidence. Training in aptitude and in C, C++ languages is also arranged to improve their technical knowledge. Before the campus interviews, mock interviews are conducted to enhance the skills of the students and motivate them to successfully face the interviews. Pre-final-year students are also trained with the help of the expertise of final-year students (already placed).

We, as an institution lay enormous emphasis on Industry-Institute Interaction activities. We put in every effort that is required to provide the industry with highly qualified and skilled fresh engineers. A separate Industry-Institute Interaction Cell has been established and lead by a senior leader with over 30+ years of industry experience. The activities of the Industry Institute Interaction Cell include frequent visit and meeting with the industry representatives, signing of MoUs with companies, establishing and maintaining Centres of Excellence, planning and conducting our annual flagship event viz., VCET Industry Connect, facilitating faculty summer internship with industry.
